The Chattooga County Water Board wants customers in the Gore-Subligna area to know that if a meter has been placed at your residence by Water District Workers you can begin to use your water.  Board member Mike Dawson told AM 1180 at Tuesday evening's Chattooga County Water Board meeting that many people were waiting for an "official announcement" that the water was ready to use in the Gore-Subligna area.  Anyone who has signed up for water and now has a meter placed on their property can hook up to that meter and begin to use water.  Work crews are busy installing meters throughout the 64 mile project in the Gore-Subligna area, a process that will take several months.
